Longevity Pay. If an employee leaves State Classified employment and later is rehired, he/she shall receive no longevity pay. However, once such a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for longevity pay. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received. (See Article 22, Section Q.)
Longevity Pay. Effective July 1, 2008, employees at ten (10) years of County service shall receive a two and one-half percent (2.5%) longevity pay differential.

Longevity Pay. If the deceased employee has met required length of service minimum, the longevity payment for the current calendar year shall be included in the lump sum payment. For purposes of calculating the longevity payment due, the last day actually worked shall be used.
Longevity Pay. Employees with continuous service, including temporary, part-time, and/or full-time service, totaling 10 years shall receive a salary increase of 2.5% over and above their regular hourly rate. Employees with such continuous service totaling the equivalent of 15 years shall receive an additional salary increase of 2.5% over and above their regular hourly rate and the 2.5% longevity pay granted for their service over 10 years.
Longevity Pay. Beginning January 1, 1999, all sworn members of the Cincinnati Police Department shall be paid compensation for length of service in the employment of the City of Cincinnati as follows:
A. After completion of eight (8) years of service, the sum of $475.00 per annum;
B. After completion of ten (10) years of service an amount to be paid annually equal to fifty dollars ($50.00) for each year of such service;
C. After completion of eighteen (18) years of service an amount to be paid annually equal to sixty dollars ($60.00) for each year of such service;
D. After completion of twenty-five (25) years of service, an amount to be paid annually equal to one-hundred dollars ($100.00) for each year of such service;
E. After completion of thirty (30) years of service, the sum of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) per annum. Said compensation for length of service shall be paid by separate check on or about the first day of December of each year beginning with the calendar year in which the employee completes, on or before December 31, a term as set forth above. In case of death, retirement or resignation, the employee shall be paid the annual longevity payment for the number of months on the payroll on a prorated basis.
Longevity Pay. The District shall provide to all regular monthly employees who have attained the appropriate full or partial fiscal years of continuous service the following longevity allowances above and beyond their regular salaries. The longevity pay allowance shall be based on the employee’s step placement and shall exclude shift differential, if any.

Longevity Pay. An employee on duty disability shall be credited for all time on duty disability for purposes of longevity pay as if he had been on duty, not to exceed a maximum of two (2) consecutive years.
