Utilization of Sick Leave. During that period of time during which the unit member is physically disabled and unable to perform her regular duties due to pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth and recovery therefrom, she shall be permitted to utilize her sick leave pursuant to section 26.1.
Utilization of Sick Leave. During which time the faculty member is physically disabled and unable to perform her regular duties due to pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth and recovery there from, she shall be permitted to utilize her accrued sick leave pursuant to Section 3(a)(4). This provision, which permits a paid leave to be taken while on an unpaid leave, is an exception to the general rule.
Utilization of Sick Leave. Employees who have accrued paid leave time shall be eligible for paid leave for any period of absence from employment which includes but is not limited to the employee’s illness; injury; temporary disability; medical or dental care; or to attend to members of the employee’s or the employee’s spouse’s immediate family or domestic partner or domestic partner’s immediate family, where the employee’s presence is required because of illness or as otherwise required by the state or federal Family Medical Leave Act or other State law. The Employer may, in its sole discretion, require reasonable proof of illness or disability and/or certification of the necessity of the employee’s absence.
Utilization of Sick Leave. Use of sick leave is governed by Civil Service Board Rule 16, Attachment A to the Civil Service Board Rules and Regulations.
Utilization of Sick Leave. For individuals with less than one (1) year of full-time service within the District, and for individuals who have exhausted the sixty (60) day compensated leave, a person may utilize accrued sick leave in fractions of days which, when added to disability compensation, will ensure his/her full salary but will not exceed a normal day's compensation.
Utilization of Sick Leave. Employees who have accrued paid leave time shall be eligible for paid leave for any period of absence from employment.
Utilization of Sick Leave. 1. The employee shall be entitled to use accumulated sick leave if ill or disabled at any time prior to the commencement of the leave.
2. Nothing herein shall preclude an employee who does request a leave hereunder from utilizing accumulated sick leave during the entire period of illness or disability occasioned by pregnancy, child delivery, or recovery there from.
Utilization of Sick Leave. Bargaining unit members may use sick leave with the approval of the Superintendent or his/her designee consistent with ORC Section 3319.141 and within the limits of this Article for absence due to:
Utilization of Sick Leave. Paid sick leave shall not be taken prior to the time 28 of its accrual and shall only be taken upon prior approval of the County. Sick leave may only be 29 utilized for employee sickness, sickness in the employee's immediate family residing with their 30 (except in the case of children, step-children, parents, step-parents, and current parents-in-law, in 1 which case there will be no residency requirement), necessary doctor's appointments, injury, 2 disability, pregnancy, or for quarantine by health authorities or a physician. Employees may be 3 required to supply proof of sickness, injury or disability. If an employee is sent to a physician of 4 the County's choosing for such purpose, the County will pay the expenses thereof. Utilization of 5 sick leave will be implemented according to the following definitions:
Utilization of Sick Leave. Accumulated sick leave may be utilized when a bargaining unit member is ill, or injured, or for appointments with doctors, dentists, or other licensed professional medical practitioners.
