COOK COUNTY AFFIDAVIT FOR WAGE THEFT ORDINANCE. Effective May 1, 2015, every Person, including Substantial Owners, seeking a Contract with Cook County must comply with the Cook County Wage Theft Ordinance set forth in Chapter 34, Article IV, Section 179. Any Person/Substantial Owner, who fails to comply with Cook County Wage Theft Ordinance, may request that the Chief Procurement Officer grant a reduction or waiver in accordance with Section 34-179(d).
