Common use of Cooperation and Capacity Building Clause in Contracts

Cooperation and Capacity Building. 1. Both Parties shall explore opportunities for further cooperation among the parties including capacity building, technical assistance, collaboration and information exchange on sanitary and phytosanitary matters of mutual interest, consistent with the provisions of this Chapter, subject to the availability of appropriate resources. 2. In undertaking cooperative activities, both Parties shall endeavour to coordinate with bilateral, regional or multilateral work programmes with the objective of avoiding unnecessary duplications and maximizing the use of resources.
