Cooperation on Fisheries. In view of the socio-economic importance of their respective fisheries sectors, the Parties undertake to develop closer cooperation in this field in particular through the conclusion of a sectorial fisheries agreement, in accordance with their respective legislation, if deemed appropriate.
Cooperation on Fisheries. The Contracting Parties acknowledge the importance of achieving a convergence in their interest in the field of fisheries. They shall endeavour to intesify and develop cooperation in this regard by: — drawing up and implementing special programmes, — encouraging the private sector to participate in devel- oping this sector.
