The unit must be capable of being powered from a wall outlet or from a data or network connection. This definition is intended to cover products that are marketed as copiers or upgradeable digital copiers (UDCs).

Double-sided copies are considered as two images and therefore two copies even though they are copied onto one piece of paper. For all copier models sold in the US market, measurement of copier speed shall be based on 8,5’’ × 11’’ letter-sized paper paper. For copiers sold in markets other than the US, copier speed shall be based on either 8,5’’ × 11’’ or A4-sized paper, depending on which is standard in a particular market.

Large format copiers designed to handle 17" X 22" (or A2) paper or larger may be qualified under this program using an adjusted copier speed. This adjustment is outlined in section IV.B below. Copiers qualified under this MOU shall be divided into the following categories:

Copiers qualified under this MOU shall be divided into three categories: low speed copiers, medium speed copiers and high speed copiers.

A digital laser copier, with automatic document feeder, having reduction/ enlargement functions and capable of accepting maximum 11–inch by 17-inch size originals and producing 8 1/2–inch by 11-inch and 8 1/2-inch by 14 – inch size copies at a minimum rate of 10 letter size copies per minute. Include sufficient imaging cartridges (toner/ drum/ developer) to yield a minimum of 5,000 copied pages.
Copier. Each employee shall have access to duplicating resources as determined by the departmental budget manager.

Copier. One copier code is available for each Lessee. There is a per a page fee for b/w copies and a separate per page fee for color copies (where available) and is invoiced monthly and subject to change.
