Common use of Corporation's Liability on Check-Off Clause in Contracts

Corporation's Liability on Check-Off. The Association agrees to indemnify and save the Corporation harmless against any claim or liability arising out of the application of this Article except for an error committed by the Corporation in the amount of dues deducted: where such an error results in the employee being in arrears for dues deductions, recovery is to be made by deducting one additional deduction each two (2) week pay period in an amount not to exceed the established pay period deduction; (a) until arrears are recovered in full, (b) for a period not to exceed twelve (12) months, whichever occurs first.
