Rights of Union Representatives. The provisions contained in clause 3.04 do not apply to meetings between Union officers and representatives of the Corporation, nor are they to be construed as affecting the activities of Union officers specifically provided for in Articles 9 and 10 of this collective agreement.

Rights of Union Representatives. Permission to leave workstation for Union business will be limited to the investigation and presentation of grievances to the Employer and negotiations with the Employer. Union representatives shall be afforded reasonable time to perform the above duties without loss of pay. On-duty employees shall notify the Employer and obtain the consent of the Employer to leave a workstation to conduct Union business. The Union shall attempt to schedule Union business so as not to interfere with work schedules.
Rights of Union Representatives. 40:01 The Agency recognizes the Union’s right to select Representatives to represent employees. 40:02 The Union shall determine the number of Representatives and the jurisdiction of each Officer having regard to the plan or organization, the distribution of employees at the workplace, and the administrative structure implied by the grievance procedure. The number of officers shall not exceed four (4). 40:03 Union Representatives and employees shall not conduct Union business during their working time. 40:04 The duties of the Union Representatives shall be to investigate complaints of an urgent nature and to investigate and present grievances in accordance with the grievance procedure. 40:05 For complaints of an urgent nature, and where a Union Representative is an employee of the Agency, a Union Representative shall first obtain the permission of his or her Manager before leaving work to investigate such complaints with the employee and the Manager or departmental official concerned. Such permission shall not be unreasonably sought or withheld. On resuming his or her normal duties, the Union Representative shall notify his or her Manager. 40:06 When it is necessary for a Union Representative, who is an employee of the Agency, to investigate a complaint or grievance during working hours, no deduction in salary shall be made from the Union Representative or employee concerned, provided that each has obtained approval from their Manager for the time required to deal with the complaint or grievance. On resuming their duties, the Union Representative and employee shall notify their Manager. 40:07 Where an employee is hired, the Agency shall introduce the employee to a Union Representative and provide up to thirty (30) minutes during normal

The employer agrees to promptly make available to the Association all public information concerning the County of Middlesex, including but not limited to financial statements, debt statements annual audit reports, or annual budget, pertinent to any particular case, together with all information which may be necessary for the Association to process any grievance, unfair practice charge, disciplinary hearing, arbitration or complaint.   • UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS 30.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Co-operative for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. 30.02 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted, after notifying the General Manager or their designated representative, and shall be: (a) carried on in a place within the Co-operative's premises designated by management; (b) held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this is not practical; (c) held during the regular working hours; time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Co-operative time unless with the approval of management; (d) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public.

  • Designation of Representatives 9.2.1 TxDOT and DB Contractor shall each designate Authorized Representative(s) who shall be authorized to make decisions and bind the Parties on matters relating to the Contract Documents. Exhibit 19 hereto provides the initial Authorized Representative designations.   • Staff Representatives A. The Union will provide the Employer with a written list of staff representatives and the bargaining unit for which they are responsible. The Union will provide written notice to the Employer of any changes within thirty (30) calendar days of the changes. B. Staff representatives may have access to the Employer’s offices or facilities to carry out representational activities. The representatives will notify the Employer prior to their arrival and will not interrupt the normal operations of the Employer. The staff representative may meet with bargaining unit employees in non-work areas during the employee’s meal periods, rest periods, and before and after the employee’s shift. C.
