Council's Duty to Discuss Change. 31.2.1 Council shall discuss with the employee/s affected and the union to which they belong regarding what effects the changes are likely to have on the employee/s and measures to avert or manage the changes. Council shall give consideration to matters raised by the employee/s and/or their union in relation to the changes and may reconsider its original decision. 31.2.2 Discussion shall commence as early as practicable after a decision has been made by Council to make the changes following completion of Clause 12.2 – Objective 2 – Change – Organisational and Operational Change Process. 31.2.3 For the purposes of the discussion, Council shall provide to the employee/s concerned and the union to which they belong, relevant information about the changes including the nature of the changes proposed, the expected effects of the changes on the employee/s and any other matters likely to affect the employee/s.
