Employee Facilities. Employee Facilities. Restrooms and attendant facilities shall be provided as required in the orders and regulations of the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries. A good faith effort will be made by the Employer to provide facilities for employees’ personal belongings.
Employee Facilities. Adequate lunchroom, washroom and toilet facilities shall be provided and available for the use of the employees. Suitable dressing rooms and/or lockers shall be provided to employees in those occupations where a change of clothing is required by the Employer.
(a) Employees are encouraged to report to supervision any condition in employee facilities which appear to be below minimum standards.
(b) The adequacy of employee facilities, including sanitary supply dispensers employees, lactation stations, all gender bathrooms, or any change in employee facilities, shall be a proper subject for discussion by the Joint Union- Management Committee.
(c) Regarding the use of Gender Segregated Facilities:
Employee Facilities. Lunch break areas with tables, chairs, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sink, and dishwashing area will continue at work locations where they are currently provided. Candy and soda machines will continue at work locations where they are currently available, subject to third party (vendor) involvement. Coffee truck service at breaks and meal period will continue as currently available, subject to third party (vendor) involvement. Bottled water provided at all fixed locations. Showers will continue to be available at work locations where they are currently provided. The SFMTA will pay for the repair or replacement of any power or pneumatic tools, personally owned by an employee, when the Department requires the employee to provide said tools. The SFMTA will provide any specialty or custom tools required by the Department.
Employee Facilities. The district shall designate adequate facilities for employees' lounges, restrooms, preparation/planning in each current and new permanent school. To the extent possible, any such facilities that are reduced to accommodate class size reduction efforts shall be restored as a priority facility expansion when class size limits have been achieved. To the extent possible, such facilities shall be secluded from students.
Employee Facilities. Management shall maintain physical plant facilities provided for employees (including parking and existing motorcycle and bicycle parking with adequate accommodations for seasonal usage) at the Institutions, and elsewhere where authority exists.
Employee Facilities. The Employer shall provide restrooms and adequate facilities for meal breaks and lockers shall be made available if they are currently being provided.
Employee Facilities. The District shall make available in each school a lunchroom, restroom, and lavatory facilities for employee and other adult use. A lounge or study area, appropriately furnished (including a telephone), shall be reserved for use by faculty. Provision for lounge and study areas will be made in all future buildings. Such facilities shall not be available to students.
Employee Facilities. Lockers and a locker changing rooms will continue to be made available at work locations where they are currently provided.
Employee Facilities. As budget and facilities permit, Xxxxxxx County Public Schools (CCPS) shall make available to each school the following:
7.1 A desk, chair, file cabinet, and a computer shall be provided for each teacher, including teachers who float. Reasonable efforts will be made to continue to provide to teachers interactive white boards (i.e. SMART Boards) that enhance instructional practice.
7.2 Private telephone facilities shall be made available to teachers for their reasonable use.
7.3 Adequate storage space in each classroom, where appropriate.
7.4 An appropriately furnished room to be reserved for the use of teachers as a faculty room. Furnishings will include dining tables and chairs.
7.5 Well-lighted and clean teacher restrooms reserved for their use.
7.6 A teacher work area containing equipment and supplies to aid in the preparation of instructional materials.
7.7 Vending machines shall be installed in the school’s faculty lounge as approved by the principal, provided that said approval will not be denied without cause.
7.8 At least one computer with appropriate software and Internet connection in each classroom, as well as access to a printer, for exclusive use of teachers.
7.9 Lockable storage for teacher use shall be provided.
Employee Facilities. Section 17.1 Each building where employees are working will conform to federal, state and local health and safety rules and regulations. Buildings should contain the following:
A. Space in each classroom, or in close proximity to each workstation, to safely store instructional materials, supplies, and personal belongings.
B. A work area containing equipment and supplies to aid in the preparation of instructional materials with appropriate technology as determined by specific program needs. If such work area is not available for teachers during their planning/preparation time in the areas of material/hands-on lab classes in the areas of science, art, and career/technical education, a remedy of one-thousand dollars ($1,000) will be applied (pro-rated per year).
C. A serviceable desk or table and chair, book storage, and a lockable filing cabinet, of two (2) to four (4) drawers for use by the employee occupying a teaching station equitably supplied with basic curriculum materials within the parameters of curricular adoptions.
D. A furnished faculty lounge separate from any work area that may be used as a dining area separate from students.
E. Clean restrooms separate from student restrooms.
F. A reasonable effort will be made to provide, where possible, within existing school buildings, a place where staff can lie down, separate from students, in the event a health condition makes this necessary.
Section 17.2 In response to a call to Support Services, every effort will be made to achieve an appropriate temperature and/or air quality in the classroom as soon as possible. The principal will make every effort possible to locate alternate quarters in those cases where extreme conditions exist.
Section 17.3 The District and the Association acknowledge that all employees shall be provided a safe working environment. If an employee believes their personal safety, or the safety of students is compromised, the following procedures will apply:
