Common use of County Assistance Clause in Contracts

County Assistance. Ouray County Road and Bridge crews and equipment may be made available to assist with snow removal from the Affected Portion of the Roads after a large snow event or after Company has performed avalanche control work in the area. Such assistance by Ouray County Road and Bridge crews will only occur after snow removal operations have been completed in the rest of Ouray County. In no event will Ouray County assist with avalanche control operations. The assistance of Ouray County Road and Bridge crews will be at the discretion of the Road and Bridge Superintendent only after an assessment of the safety of such operations on the Roads has been made. The assistance with snow removal as described herein shall be without cost to Company and contribution by County shall not exceed a total of 400 man- hours per year during the term of this Agreement.
