Requests for Assistance. 1. Requests for assistance shall be made in writing and addressed to the contact person of the Requested Authority listed in Annex A.
2. In case of emergency, requests for information and replies to such requests may be transmitted orally provided that these requests are confirmed in the manner required in this Article unless the Requested Authority agrees to waive such requirements.
3. To the extent available to the Requesting Authority and in order to facilitate the Requested Authority's work the Request should specify the following:
a. a description of the subject matter of the request and the purpose for which the information is sought and the reasons why this information will be of assistance;
b. a description of the specific information requested by the Requesting Authority; in case of discharging its responsibilities pursuant to its respective laws and regulations, the Requesting Authority shall also name these laws and regulations;
c. in so far as the request results from investigations of violations of any laws or regulations, a short description of the relevant provisions that may have been violated and, if known to the Requesting Authority, a list of the persons or institutions believed by the Requesting Authority to possess the information sought or the places where such information may be obtained and the details that support this belief, to the best of the Requesting Authority’s knowledge;
d. in so far as the request concerns information relating to transactions in specific securities: • a description of the financial instruments in question as precise as possible, including the relevant legislation relating to them. • the names of those firms with whose dealings in the financial instruments the Requesting Authority is concerned, • the dates between which transactions in the financial instruments are considered relevant for the purposes of the request, • the names of any persons on whose behalf relevant transactions in the financial instruments are believed or suspected to have been entered into;
e. in so far as the request relates to information concerning the business or activities of any person, such precise information as the Requesting Authority is able to provide so as to enable such persons to be identified;
f. an indication of the sensitivity of the information contained in the request and whether the Requesting Authority is content for the fact that it has made the request to be disclosed to persons whom the Requested Authority may n...
Requests for Assistance. A Member may request assistance of other participating Members in preventing, mitigating, responding to and recovering from incidents, emergencies, disasters, or in concert with drills or exercises. Requests for assistance shall be directed to the designated contact person(s) on the contact list provided by the Members. Verbal requests shall be followed up with a written request as soon as practical or within thirty (30) days. The extent to which the Lender provides any assistance shall be at the Lender’s sole discretion. In the event the emergency impacts a large geographical area that activates either Federal or State emergency laws, this Agreement shall remain in effect until or unless this Agreement conflicts with such Federal and State laws.
Requests for Assistance. 1. If the employee enters an in-patient or out-patient program, he/she will be considered to be on approved sick leave and he/she may utilize any accumulated sick days or vacation days to the extent necessary to avoid loss of pay. If the in-patient or out-patient program is extended beyond the customary twenty-eight or thirty days, the employee after having exhausted all accumulated sick leave and vacation days will be automatically approved for the Sick Leave Bank if he/she is enrolled in the Sick Leave Bank, and the employee may apply to the Xxxxxx County Insurance for compensation. The employee and the Board’s approved insurance carrier shall assume total financial responsibility for the Employee Assistance Program.

Requests for Assistance. The participants may call upon competent professional and lay representatives to consider the matter under discussion and to make suggestions. All participants have the right to utilize the services of consultants in the deliberations.

Member Responsibility: Members shall identify an Authorized Official and alternates; provide contact information including 24-hour access. and maintain resource information that may be available from the utility for mutual aid and assistance response. Such contact information shall be updated annually or when changes occur, provided to the State Steering Committee. In the event of an Emergency, a Member’s Authorized Official may request mutual aid and assistance from a participating Member. Requests for assistance can be made orally or in writing. When made orally, the request for personnel, equipment, and supplies shall be prepared in writing as soon as practicable. Requests for assistance shall be directed to the Authorized Official of the participating Member. Specific protocols for requesting aid shall be provided in the required procedures (Article IV). Response to a Request for Assistance – Members of the agreement are not obligated to respond to a request. After a Member receives a request for assistance, the Authorized Official evaluates whether or not to respond, whether resources are available to respond, or if other circumstances would hinder response. Following the evaluation, the Authorized Representative shall inform, as soon as possible, the Requesting Member whether it will respond. If the Member is willing and able to provide assistance, the Member shall inform the Requesting Member about the type of available resources and the approximate arrival time of such assistance.

Requests for Assistance. 18 Employees who have been assigned to teach classes outside of their area of recent service 19 may request inservice assistance. Such a request shall be made during or before the 20 initial thirty (30) days of service in the new assignment. The evaluators will develop a 21 plan of assistance, as provided in Part B of this Article. Requests for assistance and 22 successful completion of an inservice plan are an indication of the employee's desire to 23 provide quality service.
Requests for Assistance. Co-operation within the framework of this Agreement will be carried out on the basis of written requests for assistance, or on the initiative of one of the Parties, if this Party presumes that such assistance is of interest to the other Party.
Requests for Assistance. 1. The requesting State shall make a request in writing.
2. The requesting State may, in urgent cases, after having been in contact with the requested State, make a request by any other reliable means of communication, including fax or e-mail. In such cases, the requesting State shall provide supplementary confirmation of the request in writing promptly thereafter, if the requested State so requires.
3. A request shall include the following:
(a) the name of the competent authority conducting the investigation, prosecution or other proceeding, including judicial proceeding;
(b) the facts pertaining to the subject of the investigation, prosecution or other proceeding, including judicial proceeding;
(c) the nature and stage of the investigation, prosecution or other proceeding, including judicial proceeding;
(d) the text or a statement of the relevant laws, including applicable penalties, of the requesting State;
(e) a description of the assistance requested; and
(f) a description of the purpose of the assistance requested.
4. A request shall, to the extent possible and relevant to the assistance requested, include the following:
(a) information on the identity and location of any person from whom testimony, statements or items are sought;
(b) a list of questions to be asked to the person from whom testimony or statements are sought;
(c) a precise description of persons or places to be searched and of items to be sought;
(d) a description of why the requesting State considers that the requested records, documents or reports of bank accounts are relevant and necessary for the purpose of the investigation into the offence, and other information that may facilitate the execution of the request;
(e) information regarding persons, items or places to be examined;
(f) information regarding persons, items or places to be located or identified;
(g) information on the identity and location of a person to be served with a document or informed of an invitation, that person's relationship to the proceeding, and the manner in which service is to be made;
(h) information on the allowances and expenses to which a person whose appearance is sought before the competent authority of the requesting State will be entitled; and
(i) a precise description of proceeds or instrumentalities, the location thereof, and the identity of the owner thereof.

Requests for Assistance. 4.1. In an Emergency, any Party to this Agreement may request assistance from another Party to this Agreement including, but not limited to, qualified personnel (i.e. Building Official personnel, administrative personnel, operators), services, equipment and/or material.
4.2. The request for assistance shall be made by the CAO of the Requesting Party to the CAO of the Assisting Municipality. The CAO may make the initial request for assistance orally. Notwithstanding the requirement for a written request, the Assisting Municipality may provide assistance to the other Party upon receipt of the oral request.
4.3. The request for assistance shall be confirmed in writing as soon as reasonably practicable by the Requesting Party in accordance with Schedule “A” attached hereto. The written request shall set out in detail the specific personnel, services, equipment, or material that has been requested as assistance, and which the Assisting Municipality has agreed to provide. The Assisting Municipality may request such reasonable additional information as it considers necessary to confirm the existence of the Emergency and to assess the type, scope, nature, and amount of assistance to be provided.
4.4. The Assisting Municipality shall respond to the request, if possible, within 1 day, and may in its sole discretion determine the type and scope, nature and amount of assistance it will provide. The Assisting Municipality shall confirm in writing the assistance it has agreed to provide.
4.5. The Parties may by mutual agreement alter the assistance to be provided to the Assisted Municipality under this Agreement. Amendments to the scope, type, nature or amount of assistance shall be confirmed in writing by the Requesting Party within three (3) days of being agreed upon.
