Court Sanctions, Bar Complaints and Arrests. A. The City will pay any sanctions, terms, or fines levied by any court against employees for acts or omissions committed by them in good faith and within the course and scope of their official duties. At the discretion of the City Attorney or designee, legal representation may be provided by internal or outside counsel. B. Employees shall notify the Criminal Division Chief within one (1) business day of any arrest or of receiving a motion or other request for court sanctions or a Bar complaint being levied against them.
