Coverage During First Twenty Sample Clauses
The "Coverage During First Twenty" clause defines the scope and terms of insurance or benefit coverage during the initial twenty units of a specified period, such as days, weeks, or months, after a policy or agreement becomes effective. Typically, this clause outlines any limitations, waiting periods, or reduced benefits that apply during this early phase, ensuring that both parties understand the extent of protection available immediately after commencement. Its core function is to manage risk for the provider by preventing full coverage from being available right away, thereby discouraging misuse or adverse selection at the start of the coverage period.
