Common use of Covered Employees Defined Clause in Contracts

Covered Employees Defined. For the purpose of this provision, Covered Employees means any person employed by the Contractor or Subcontractor who meets the following conditions: a) The person does not provide volunteer services that are uncompensated except for reimbursement of expenses such as meals, parking or transportation; b) The person expends at least half of his/her time on work for the City; c) The person is at least eighteen (18) years of age; and d) The person is not in training for the period of training specified under training standards approved by the City of San Xxxx.
