Common use of Crediting of Holiday Time Clause in Contracts

Crediting of Holiday Time. A member qualifying for holiday time on January 1st shall be credited with one hundred twenty (120) hours of holiday time for the holidays listed in Section 1, which time shall accrue on a calendar year basis and be credited on each January 1st. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a member who first qualifies for holiday time other than on a January 1st shall only be credited for those holidays remaining in that calendar year during which such member first qualifies for holiday time, with this time to be credited on the first day following the day on which the member qualifies for holiday time.
