List of Holidays. All employees who have been on payroll for at least fifteen (15) days in the previous thirty (30) days shall receive a day's pay for the following statutory holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Easter Monday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day British Columbia Day and all holidays proclaimed by municipal, provincial and federal governments. Employees shall be paid at the rate of pay for the work performed previous to the statutory holiday.
List of Holidays. The Board will grant the following sixteen (16) paid holidays annually, as well as any additional holidays mandated by Education Code Section 88203. The Employer recognizes the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day Labour Day Family Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Christmas Day Easter Monday Boxing Day Victoria Day Civic Holiday (deferred to Christmas Shutdown) Canada Day Plus, any other day(s) declared or proclaimed as a Statutory Holiday by the Federal or Provincial Government. The Employer shall post a list no later than December 15th of each year stating on which day the Civic Holiday and any other deferred holiday will be observed.

(b) Two (2) floating holidays to be taken on a day mutually agreed upon between the Employer and the employee.

The following fourteen (14) days shall be considered paid holidays under the provisions, hereinafter set forth: New Year's Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx.'s Birthday, Xxxxxxx's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, Operator’s Birthday and two (2) Floating Holidays which shall be bid pursuant to the procedures set forth in Section 9.9.

(a) Employees shall, upon completion of fifteen (15) working days within the most recent thirty (30) working days, be entitled to the following statutory holidays: New Year’s Day B.C. Day Good Friday Labour Day Easter Monday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Remembrance Day Canada Day Christmas Day Boxing Day Family Day AND any other day proclaimed by the federal or provincial governments to be declared as a statutory holiday. When any of the above days fall on a prescribed school day, a day in lieu shall be arranged by mutual consent.
(b) Holidays shall be prorated for part-time employees.

(a) Employees shall be given the following holidays without deduction of pay: New Year's Day Heritage Day Good Friday Easter Monday Queen's Birthday Canada Day Civic Holiday Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Remembrance Day Christmas Eve Day Christmas Day Boxing Day New Year's Eve Day and such others as are proclaimed as holidays by the federal, provincial or municipal government.
(b) All days between Christmas Day and New Year's Day shall be time off with pay as described in Appendix "B" attached.
