Common use of Custodial Training Clause in Contracts

Custodial Training. New hires will be required to take a comprehensive training course. The District will allocate a position solely responsible for training new custodians in job and safety requirements of the classification but will not use contractors. The District and the Union will work collaboratively to develop the training course, which will be provided by the District. In the event an employee in the bargaining unit is used for training, the employee will receive a stipend of fifty dollars ($50.00) per day.
