Daily Food Allowance Sample Clauses
The Daily Food Allowance clause establishes a fixed amount of money or reimbursement provided to individuals, such as employees or contractors, to cover their daily meal expenses while performing duties for the organization. Typically, this allowance applies during business travel, fieldwork, or other work-related activities away from the usual place of employment, and may specify eligible expenses or set a per diem rate. Its core function is to ensure that individuals are fairly compensated for necessary meal costs incurred during work, promoting clarity and consistency in expense management.
Daily Food Allowance. The District shall provide a daily food allowance of one meal, either a National School Lunch or breakfast (including an adult beverage in lieu of milk), or its equivalent based upon Board approved adult meal prices, to adult kitchen workers at schools, the Nutrition Center and Children's Centers. Children's Center Housekeepers who are assigned duties including food preparation and/or service shall also receive the food allowance.
Daily Food Allowance. The Employer shall pay each employee a food allowance for each day that the employee is scheduled to work. The allowance is paid for each day worked by the employee and for each day that work was scheduled but not performed due to circumstances outside the employee’s control, but excluding days not worked due to the illness or absence of the employee. The daily food allowance is sixty-nine ($69.00) dollars for each day as a non-taxable reimbursement.
