Data Aggregation and De. Identification. Business Associate may Use PHI to perform data aggregation services as permitted by 45 C.F.R. § 164.504(e). Business Associate also may Use and Disclose PHI to create de-identified information in accordance with 45 C.F.R. § 145.514(a)-(c), and may thereafter Use or Disclose such de-identified information for lawful purposes.

Data Aggregation and De. Identification. Only to the extent necessary to perform Services purchased under this MRA, CHC may use Protected Health Information to provide Data Aggregation services as permitted by 45 C.F.R. 164.504(e)(2)(i)(B) and may de- identify Protected Health Information in accordance with 45 C.F.R. 164.514(b). This section does not limit any other right to provide Data Aggregation services or to de- identify Protected Health Information granted in a business associate agreement or elsewhere.

  • Data Aggregation In the event that Business Associate works for more than one Covered Entity, Business Associate is permitted to use and disclose PHI for data aggregation purposes, however, only in order to analyze data for permitted health care operations, and only to the extent that such use is permitted under the HIPAA Rules.

  • Data Segregation a. DSHS Data must be segregated or otherwise distinguishable from non-DSHS data.
