Data Falsification Clause Samples
The Data Falsification clause prohibits any party from intentionally providing false, misleading, or manipulated data in connection with the agreement. In practice, this clause applies to all information exchanged or reported under the contract, such as financial statements, performance metrics, or compliance documentation, and may specify consequences if falsification is discovered. Its core function is to ensure the integrity and reliability of information shared between parties, thereby reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining trust in contractual dealings.
Data Falsification. Institution and Investigator will promptly report to Idorsia in writing any in- formation it is aware of indicating that any per- son has, or may have, engaged in falsification of data (i.e. creating, altering, recording or omitting data in such a way that the data do not represent what actually occurred) in re- porting Idorsia Data or in the course of per- forming, recording, supervising, or reviewing the Study.
