Date for Complaint Hearing. The UNION shall contact the selected Arbitrator within ten (10) calendar days from the date of the completion of the Mediation process, or in the event that Mediation is not utilized, within (10) working days of receipt of the complaint. Upon confirmation by the Arbitrator, the UNION will forthwith contact the complainant by certified mail indicating the date, time and place of the complaint hearing.

  • Relief for Complainant 16. Respondents agree to promote Fair Housing, by printing the Commission’s fair housing brochure, “Fair Housing and You,” and distributing the brochure to each of their rental units on or before September 1, 2017. Respondents agree to access the brochure on the Commission’s website at: xxxxx://xxxx.xxxx.xxx/sites/default/files/publications/2013/FairHousing_English_2013.pdf Respondents also agree to send a statement to the Commission, on or before September 1, 2017, verifying that the brochure was, in fact, distributed to each of their tenants with the number of rental units it was distributed to.

  • Grievance Hearing Within four (4) working days after the receipt of the written grievance, the Superintendent shall arrange and meet with the Union Representative for a hearing of the grievance.

  • Informal Hearing By mutual agreement, an employee against whom disciplinary action is being recommended may meet with the Superintendent or his/her designee prior to written notification of official charges. The employee shall be informed orally of the reasons for disciplinary action and the action to be taken and be given an opportunity to respond. The employee may be represented at the hearing by a representative of his/her choice.

  • Grievance Hearings Each grievance hearing will be conducted by the designated administrator to determine what, if any, violation of this Agreement has occurred. Hearings will be attended by the grievant, the Hearing officer, and up to two (2) additional representatives designated by the parties respective sides. The parties may request and mutually agree that additional witnesses/representatives may attend. Witnesses will be permitted to attend hearings in those instances when the grievant and/or the Union need information more specific than that available to the grievant or Union. The parties agree that the University will schedule grievance hearings no later than two (2) hours prior to the end of the grievant’s and/or Union representative’s work shift, and the grievant will be released from duty early enough to be able to attend the grievance hearing as scheduled. If such hearings extend beyond the end of the normal work schedule of any bargaining unit member(s), the bargaining unit member(s) present at the grievance hearing will not be paid for any time spent after the end of the work schedule. Grievance hearings for bargaining unit members whose work schedules are other than the standard day shift will be scheduled at mutually convenient times. A “class action” grievance is when more than one (1) employee files a grievance over the same alleged violation, misapplication and/or misinterpretation of the terms of the Agreement. When such occurs the grievant or the Union will attempt to identify the bargaining unit members initially involved in the class action grievance, or will provide a description of the class in sufficient detail to enable the University to investigate the grievance. In class action grievances no more than one (1) grievant may attend the hearings.

  • Pre-Disciplinary Hearing ‌ When the COUNTY intends to take disciplinary action involving discharge or suspension, the COUNTY shall notify the non-probationary employee and the UNION in writing of the charges against the employee and the proposed disciplinary action and shall provide the employee with the opportunity to respond to the charges at a hearing with the supervisor or person having authority to impose the proposed disciplinary action. In the event this proceeding is recorded, the COUNTY will provide a copy of the recording and/or transcript to the UNION.

  • Anonymous Complaints When an anonymous complaint, where the complaint, if true, would not or could not lead to criminal charges, is made against a member and no corroborative evidence is obtained through a prompt investigation by management, the complaint shall be classified as unfounded. No disciplinary action may be brought as the result of unfounded complaints.

  • Disciplinary Hearing In the event the Union disagrees with the disciplinary action, the Union may appeal the matter to the Town Supervisor. The appeal must be submitted, in writing, within seven calendar days from receiving the Notice of Discipline. Within seven calendar days after receiving the appeal, the Town Supervisor shall meet with the disciplined employee and the designated representative of the Union. Within seven calendar days after said meeting, the Town Supervisor shall issue a written response, which shall be given to the designated representative of the Union.

  • Notice of Hearing At least ten (10) days prior to the scheduled hearing, the claimant and his representative designated in writing by him, if any, shall receive written notice of the date, time, and place of such scheduled hearing. The claimant or his representative, if any, may request that the hearing be rescheduled, for his convenience, on another reasonable date or at another reasonable time or place.

  • Notification to Employee and Union Within seven (7) calendar days of the date of appointment to a vacant position within the bargaining unit, the name of the successful applicant shall be posted. The Union shall be notified of all appointments. The Employer agrees, at the request of unsuccessful applicants, to discuss reasons for not being promoted and areas where the employee can improve opportunities for advancement.
