Date of Export Sample Clauses

Date of Export. (a) Eligible upland cotton will be considered exported based on the on-board-vessel-date as shown on the xxxx of lading. (b) For intermodal shipments, the date that the containers are placed on board the vessel, will be used as the date of export. Intermodal shipments must be clearly identified. (c) For truck and rail shipments to Canada or Mexico, the date the shipment crosses the international border will be used as the date of export.

Date of Export. One of the following dates, depending upon the method of shipment: The on-board date of an ocean bill of lading or the on-board ocean carrier date of an intermodal bill of lading; the on-board date of an air- way bill; or, if exported by rail or truck, the date of entry shown on an entry certificate or similar document issued and signed by an official of the government of the importing country.
