  • Payment of Reinsurance Premiums For automatic and facultative reinsurance, following the close of each calendar month, the Ceding Company will send the Reinsurer a statement and a listing of new business, changes and terminations. If a net reinsurance premium balance is payable to the Reinsurer, the Ceding Company will forward this balance within (60) sixty days after the close of each month. If a net reinsurance premium balance is payable to the Ceding Company, the balance due will be subtracted from the reinsurance premium payable by Ceding Company for the current month. The Reinsurer shall pay any remaining balance due the Ceding Company sixty days after the Ceding Company submits the statement.

  • Reinsurance Premiums A. The total Reinsurance Premium for the business ceded hereunder is the sum of the GMDB Reinsurance Premium, the EPB Reinsurance Premium and the GMIB Reinsurance Premium, each of which is defined separately in this article. B. The Reinsurance Premium rates and structure described above are subject to change in accordance with the criteria described in Article XV. GMDB AND EPB ------------ C. The new reinsurance premium rate applied shall be based off the attained age of the surviving spouse at the time of election of spousal continuance. After the termination of this Agreement for new cessions, a spousal continuation of a Reinsured Contract may be ceded to this Agreement in accordance with the procedure set forth in Article I, Paragraph D. The GMIB cession premium ("GMIB Reinsurance Premium") is an asset-based premium rate, expressed in terms of basis points, as set forth in Exhibit II, and shall be calculated on an aggregate basis. J.   • Insurance Benefit The Employer may elect to provide incidental life insurance benefits for insurable Participants who consent to life insurance benefits by signing the appropriate insurance company application form. The Trustee will not purchase any incidental life insurance benefit for any Participant prior to an allocation to the Participant's Account. At an insured Participant's written direction, the Trustee will use all or any portion of the Participant's nondeductible voluntary contributions, if any, to pay insurance premiums covering the Participant's life. This Section 11.01 also authorizes the purchase of life insurance, for the benefit of the Participant, on the life of a family member of the Participant or on any person in whom the Participant has an insurable interest. However, if the policy is on the joint lives of the Participant and another person, the Trustee may not maintain that policy if that other person predeceases the Participant. The Employer will direct the Trustee as to the insurance company and insurance agent through which the Trustee is to purchase the insurance contracts, the amount of the coverage and the applicable dividend plan. Each application for a policy, and the policies themselves, must designate the Trustee as sole owner, with the right reserved to the Trustee to exercise any right or option contained in the policies, subject to the terms and provisions of this Agreement. The Trustee must be the named beneficiary for the Account of the insured Participant. Proceeds of insurance contracts paid to the Participant's Account under this Article XI are subject to the distribution requirements of Article V and of Article VI. The Trustee will not retain any such proceeds for the benefit of the Trust. The Trustee will charge the premiums on any incidental benefit insurance contract covering the life of a Participant against the Account of that Participant. The Trustee will hold all incidental benefit insurance contracts issued under the Plan as assets of the Trust created under the Plan.

  • Municipal Pension Plan (a) An employer will provide the Municipal Pension Plan (MPP) to all eligible employees. (b) Employees of record on March 31, 2010, who meet the eligibility requirements of the MPP, have the option of joining or not joining the MPP. Eligible employees who initially elect not to join the MPP on April 1, 2010, have the right to join the MPP at any later date but will not be able to contribute or purchase service for the period waived. (c) All regular full-time employees hired after March 31, 2010, will be enrolled in the MPP upon completion of the earlier of their probationary period or three months and will continue in the plan as a condition of employment. Full-time hours of work are defined in the local issues agreement specific to each employer. Regular part-time employees and casual employees hired after April 1, 2010, who meet the eligibility requirements of the MPP have the right to enrol or not enrol in the MPP. Those who initially decline participation have the right to join the MPP at any later date. The MPP rules currently provide that a person who has completed two years of continuous employment with earnings from an employer of not less than 35% of the year's maximum pensionable earnings in each of two consecutive calendar years will be enrolled in the Plan. This rule will not apply when an eligible employee gives a written waiver to the Employer. (d) Employers will ensure that all new employees are informed of the options available to them under the MPP rules.   • Pension Plan Employers and/or individuals who manage, operate, assist or own, either partially or wholly, a company or companies working non-union in the construction industry on Mainland Nova Scotia within the craft jurisdiction of xxx Xxxxxxxxxx Local 83 shall not be eligible to be appointed to serve, or to continue to serve, as trustees on any trust fund referred to within this Collective Agreement. This provision shall apply to management trustees and union trustees alike. 29.01 It is agreed that the employer shall pay into the established Pension Fund an amount per hour for each hour paid as per the wage tables in Craft Schedule “A”, “B”, “S” and Appendix “MIP”. Pension contributions shall be calculated based on the base hourly rate and vacation pay, and no premium shall affect this.   • Benefit Level The primary care clinics available through each plan administrator are assigned a Benefit Level. The Benefit Levels are outlined in the benefit chart below. Primary care clinics may be in different Benefit Levels for different plan administrators. Family members may be enrolled in clinics that are in different Benefits Levels. Employees and their dependents may change to clinics in different Benefit Levels during the annual open enrollment. Employees and their dependents may also elect to move to a clinic in a different Benefit Level within the same plan administrator up to two (2) additional times during the plan year. Unless the individual has a referral from his/her primary care clinic, there are no benefits for services received from providers in Benefit Levels that are different from that of the primary care clinic in which the individual has enrolled.

  • Distributions to Certificateholders; Payment of Special Primary Insurance Premiums (a) On each Distribution Date, the Trustee (or any duly appointed paying agent) shall (i) subject to Section 3.05(a)(viii), withdraw from the Certificate Account any Special Primary Insurance Premium payable on such Distribution Date and pay such amount to the insurer under the applicable Special Primary Insurance Policy and (ii) withdraw from the Certificate Account the REMIC II Available Distribution Amount for such Distribution Date and distribute, from the amount so withdrawn, to the extent of the REMIC II Available Distribution Amount, the REMIC II Distribution Amount to the Certificateholders (including the Class R Certificateholders with respect to any distribution to the Holders of the Class R-2 Residual Interest), all in accordance with the written statement received from the Master Servicer pursuant to Section 4.02(b). Any Special Primary Insurance Premiums distributed pursuant to clause (i) above shall be distributed by means of payment acceptable to the insurer under the respective Special Primary Insurance Policy. Amounts distributed to the Certificateholders pursuant to clause (ii) above shall be distributed by wire transfer in immediately available funds for the account of, or by check mailed to, each such Certificateholder of record on the immediately preceding Record Date (other than as provided in Section 9.01 respecting the final distribution), as specified by each such Certificateholder and at the address of such Holder appearing in the Certificate Register. (b) All reductions in the Certificate Principal Balance of a Certificate effected by distributions of principal and all allocations of Realized Losses made on any Distribution Date shall be binding upon all Holders of such Certificate and of any Certificate issued upon the registration of transfer or exchange therefor or in lieu thereof, whether or not such distribution is noted on such Certificate. The final distribution of principal of each Certificate (and the final distribution upon the Class R Certificates upon (i) the termination of REMIC I and REMIC II and (ii) the payment, or making provision for payment, of all liabilities of the Trust) shall be payable in the manner provided above only upon presentation and surrender thereof on or after the Distribution Date therefor at the office or agency of the Certificate Registrar specified in the notice delivered pursuant to Section 4.04(c)(ii) and Section 9.01(b). (c) Whenever, on the basis of Curtailments, Payoffs and Monthly Payments on the Mortgage Loans and Insurance Proceeds and Liquidation Proceeds received and expected to be received during the Payoff Period, the Master Servicer has notified the Trustee that it believes that the entire remaining unpaid Class Principal Balance of any Class of Certificates will become distributable on the next Distribution Date, the Trustee shall, no later than the 18th day of the month of such Distribution Date, mail or cause to be mailed to each Person in whose name a Certificate to be so retired is registered at the close of business on the Record Date and to the Rating Agencies a notice to the effect that: (i) it is expected that funds sufficient to make such final distribution will be available in the Certificate Account on such Distribution Date, and (ii) if such funds are available, (A) such final distribution will be payable on such Distribution Date, but only upon presentation and surrender of such Certificate at the office or agency of the Certificate Registrar maintained for such purpose (the address of which shall be set forth in such notice), and (B) no interest shall accrue on such Certificate after such Distribution Date.
