Death, Dissolution or Incompetence of Contractor. In the event of the death or legal incompetence of a Contractor who shall be an individual or surviving member of a sole proprietor contracting firm, or the dissolution of the business entity which is the contracting firm, such death, adjudication of incompetence, or dissolution shall not terminate the Contract, but shall constitute a default hereunder, and the estate or successors of the Contractor and his or its sureties, if any, shall remain liable hereunder to the same extent as though the Contractor remained living. Notice of default, as provided in Article 18.1 shall not be required to be given in the event of such death, adjudication of incompetence, or dissolution.
