Death of extended family member a. In cases of death of an extended family member, the employee may be allowed a maximum of three full days per bereavement event with full pay. Thereafter, deduction shall be made at the rate of 1/200 of contract salary for each additional day. b. Extended family shall be defined as mother-in-law, father-in-law, and other relatives making his or her permanent home with employee. c. No unused days shall be cumulative for use in another year.
