Debit MasterCard. If approved, you may use your Mastercard® card to purchase goods and services from participating merchants. However, you may not use your card to initiate any type of electronic gambling transactions through the Internet. If you wish to pay for goods or services over the Internet, you may be required to provide card number security information before you will be permitted to complete the transaction. You agree that you will not use your card for any transaction that is illegal under applicable federal, state, or local law. Funds to cover your card purchases will be deducted from your checking account. For ATM and one-time debit card transactions, you must consent to the Credit Union’s overdraft protection plan in order for the transaction amount to be covered under the plan. Without your consent, the Credit Union may not authorize and pay an overdraft resulting from these types of transactions. Services and fees for overdrafts are shown in the document the Credit Union uses to capture the member’s opt-in choice for overdraft protection and the Schedule of Fees and Charges.

Debit MasterCard. You may use your Debit MasterCard and PIN to perform all of the functions listed above in the ATM Card Access section. Additionally, you may also: • Withdraw funds from your savings and checking accounts. • Make deposits to your savings and checking accounts. • Transfer funds between your savings and checking accounts whenever you request. • Obtain balance information on your savings, checking, and loan accounts. • Make loan payments from your savings or checking accounts. • Pay for purchases at places that have agreed to accept the Card. • Make POS (Point of Sale) transactions to purchase goods or services at POS terminals that have the MasterCard logo. • Order goods or services by mail, telephone, or via the Internet from places that accept the Card. • Make cash withdrawals in foreign countries and in foreign currencies. • Pay bills directly by telephone from your savings and checking accounts in the amounts and on the days you request. Some services on ATM or Debit Cards may not be available at all terminals. The amount of purchases and/or cash obtained (if permitted) will be deducted from your checking account. Limitations. The following limitations will apply to your Card: • The maximum dollar amount of cash withdrawals per day is . Sufficient funds must be available to make any withdrawal. There is no limit to the number of cash withdrawals you may make in one day. • The maximum purchase price for any one transaction at a POS Terminal is . There is no limit to the number of purchases you may make in one day. • For security reasons, there are other limitations to frequency and number of transfers you may make at ATMs. • Your available account balance may be reduced for preauthorizations for 3 business days or until the transaction clears. • You are not allowed to make deposits at an ATM that we do not operate or own. • Additional limitations are set forth in the TRANSFER LIMITATIONS provision contained herein.

If you initiate a transaction that overdraws your account, you agree to make immediate payment of any overdrafts together with any service charges to the Credit Union. In the event of repeated overdrafts, the Credit Union may terminate all services under this Agreement. You may use your card and personal identification number (PIN) in ATMs of the Credit Union, NYCE, Cirrus, and Co-Op networks, and such other machines or facilities as the Credit Union may designate.
Debit MasterCard. The Debit Mastercard is not a credit card, all transactions made with it will be debited from your Account. Purchases or cash withdrawals will be debited from the Account once the business or institution where the transaction was made submits the payment order to the Cooperative. In the case of a business or financial institution, where the Depositor presents the Debit Mastercard, obtains the authorization of the Cooperative to accept one or more payment orders, the charge for the payment of the orders may be temporarily withheld, such retention could delay up to twenty (20) business days. The Cooperative will not be able to release previously authorized payment orders. The Depositor relieves the Cooperative of any responsibility for withholdings or debits made in relation to authorized payment orders that are not subsequently issued. Payment orders corresponding to transactions made with the Debit Mastercard will not be subject to stop payments.

However, if your card is replaced or card information changes, you authorize us, without obligation on our part, to provide the updated card information to the merchant in order to perxxx the merchant to bill recurring charges to the card. You authorize us to apply such recurring charges to the card until you notify us that you have revoked authorization for the charges to your card.
