Common use of Debt to State Clause in Contracts

Debt to State. Pursuant to Sections 2107.008 and 2252.903 of the Texas Government Code, the A/E acknowledges and agrees that, to the extent the A/E owes any debt or delinquent taxes to the State of Texas, any payments the A/E are owed under this Contract may be applied by the Comptroller of Public Accounts toward any debt or delinquent taxes the A/E owes the State of Texas until the debt or delinquent taxes are paid in full.
