Common use of Debt to State Clause in Contracts

Debt to State. ‌ The grantee agrees, to the extent grantee owes any debt (child support or other obligation) or delinquent taxes to the State of Texas, any payments grantee is owed under this Grant Agreement may be applied by the Comptroller of Public Accounts toward any such debt or delinquent taxes until such debt or delinquent taxes are paid in full.
