Common use of Decisions of the Board Clause in Contracts

Decisions of the Board. a. The majority decision of the Board of Arbitration shall be final and binding upon the Board, the Union and the employee(s) concerned. b. Should the Board of Arbitration find that an employee has been suspended or terminated for other than proper cause, the Board of Arbitration may direct the School Board to reinstate the employee and pay to the employee a sum equal to the wages or salary lost by such suspension or termination, or such lesser sum as in the opinion of the Board of Arbitration is fair and reasonable.
