The days listed below will be recognized by the Company as statutory holidays, regardless of any conflict between these holidays and those declared as statutory holidays by municipal, provincial or federal statutes. New Year's Day Civic Holiday Good Friday Labour Day Easter Monday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day When Canada Day falls on a Saturday it shall be observed on the following Monday. In the event that Boxing Day or New Year's Day falls on a Sunday, it shall be observed on Monday. Similarly, if Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, it shall be observed on Monday and Boxing Day on Tuesday. When Christmas falls on Tuesday, Boxing Day shall be observed on Monday. All regular and probationary employees shall be paid for statutory holidays. A statutory holiday falling within an employee's vacation period shall not be counted as part of his/her vacation but shall be taken as an extra day of holiday. Regular part-time employees will be entitled to statutory holiday pay provided that they:
1. Have more than three months' accumulated service;
2. Have worked on at least 12 days during the four weeks immediately preceding the holiday;
3. Have worked on their scheduled regular day of work preceding and following the holiday. Payment for such statutory holidays will be the amount the employee would normally earn on a scheduled day of work.
Recognized holidays falling on a Saturday or Sunday shall be observed on the following Monday. When Christmas Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it shall be observed on the following Monday and Boxing Day on the following Tuesday. When New Year's Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it shall be observed either on the preceding Friday or following Monday.
Recognized teaching experience also includes full or regular part-time teaching in an elementary or secondary school operating under the jurisdiction of a school board or school authority established under legislation of a government outside of Canada, where the board recognizes such experience as equivalent to experience described in b) above.

Holidays in this Agreement falling on a Saturday or Sunday shall be observed on the following Monday, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the Business Manager or their Representative and the Employer. When Christmas Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday and Tuesday will be observed.
Recognized. PBA stewards who are current employees of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office will be permitted to investigate grievances or otherwise process grievances during work hours only after the express consent of their nonunion- represented supervisor has been given. In addition, no xxxxxxx or PBA designated legal representative shall discuss a grievance with an employee during working hours without first also obtaining the consent of the employee’s immediate supervisor. The investigation or processing of grievances shall not interrupt, delay or otherwise interfere with efficient and proper service to the community, and the PBA agrees that it and its stewards will guard against abuse of this privilege.
Recognized employee organizations may use designated portions of City bulletin boards in departments, which have employees in the representation units for which the Union is recognized.

Recognized teaching experience shall include one-tenth (1/10) of a year for each twenty (20) full-time equivalent days of teaching or full school month of teaching (whichever is greater), in an Extended Occasional or Long Term Occasional Agreement assignment. One-tenth (1/10) of a year of teaching experience will be granted for a remainder of ten (10) or more days after division into twenty (20) day blocks.
Recognized teaching experience shall include one tenth of a year for each 20 days of teaching in a long term occasional teaching assignment rounded to the nearest 1/10.
