Common use of Deck Insulation Clause in Contracts

Deck Insulation. For new construction and re-roofing, all deck insulation shall be isocyanurate rigid foam insulation with aluminum foil or fiberglass facers, which meet federal specification HH-I- 1972/1 and Factory Mutual, report serial No J.I. XX0X0.XX. Tapered isocyanurate rigid foam insulation board shall provide a minimum slope of 1/8” per foot. All insulation board shall be installed in compliance with the latest manufacturer’s written instruction.
