Common use of Declination Payment Clause in Contracts

Declination Payment. i. The District will pay the following amounts to employees eligible for health insurance who, during each open enrollment period, decline health insurance for the subsequent plan year and provide proof of health insurance coverage from a source other than the District: 1. $700 to an employee eligible for a single plan 2. $1,000 to an employee eligible for a 2-person plan ii. One-half of the declination payment will be made in the last pay period in December, and one-half will be paid in the last pay period in May of each year.
