Full-Time to Part-Time: Teachers seeking to reduce their full-time assignment to a part-time assignment for the following school year must make a written request, to the Director of Education or designate, prior to February 28. Requests shall be granted where practical, as determined by the Director of Education or designate. Such requests shall not be unreasonably denied. The structure of the reduced assignment must be consistent with the needs of the Board and school, as well as the program and/or schedule of the school. For purposes of clarity, this provision shall not apply to requests for leaves or part time leaves of absence.
