DEDUCTIBLES, SELF-INSURED RETENTIONS, AND SUPPLEMENTAL COVERAGE. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for any costs or expenses as a result of a coverage deductible, coinsurance penalty, or self-insured retention. When a self-insured retention or deductible exceeds Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000) for any of the foregoing required policies, the City reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review and request a copy of the Contractor's most recent annual report or audited financial statements to determine the reasonability of the retention levels, based on the financial capacity of the Contractor. At the City's option, the Contractor may be required to reduce the self-insured retentions, or the Contractor shall be required to procure a bond guaranteeing payment of losses and related claims expenses.

  • Deductibles and Self-Insured Retentions Any deductibles or self-insured retentions must be declared to, and approved by CITY's Risk Manager. At the option of CITY, either; the insurer shall reduce or eliminate such deductibles or self-insured retentions as respects CITY, its officer, employees, agents and contractors; or GRANTEE shall procure a bond guaranteeing payment of losses and related investigations, claim administration and defense expenses in an amount specified by the CITY's Risk Manager.

  • Excess/Umbrella Liability Policies Required insurance coverage limits may be provided through a combination of primary and excess/umbrella liability policies. If coverage limits are provided through excess/umbrella liability policies, then a Schedule of underlying insurance listing policy information for all underlying insurance policies (insurer, policy number, policy term, coverage and limits of insurance), including proof that the excess/umbrella insurance follows form must be provided after renewal and/or upon request.

  • ADDITIONAL COVERAGES We cover the following in addition to the limits of liability: A. Claim Expenses 1. Expenses we incur and costs taxed against an "insured" in any suit we defend;

  • All Coverages Each insurance policy required in this item shall be endorsed to state that coverage shall not be suspended, voided, cancelled, reduced in coverage or in limits except after thirty (30) days' prior written notice by certified mail, return receipt requested, has been given to the Town. Current certification of such insurance shall be kept on file at all times during the term of this agreement with the Town Clerk.

  • Special Coverages Tenant shall carry “Builder’s All Risk” insurance in an amount approved by Landlord covering the construction of the Tenant Improvements, and such other insurance as Landlord may require, it being understood and agreed that the Tenant Improvements shall be insured by Tenant pursuant to the Lease immediately upon completion thereof. Such insurance shall be in amounts and shall include such extended coverage endorsements as may be reasonably required by Landlord, and in form and with companies as are required to be carried by Tenant as set forth in the Lease.
