Definition of Experience. Credit for a year of teaching experience will be given, on initial placement, on the following bases: a. a minimum of eight (8) months of full-time equivalent continuous service in one (1) school year; b. an accumulation of ten months of shorter periods, provided each such period is not less than two (2) months in an appointed position.
