Common use of Definition of Probationary Employee Clause in Contracts

Definition of Probationary Employee. 14/3/1 The term “probationary employee” as used in this Agreement relates to all employees serving on a probationary period as defined below. All original and all promotional appointments to permanent, sessional and seasonal positions shall be for a probationary period of twenty-four (24) months except as specifically provided in s. 230.28, Wis. Stats., and Wisconsin Administrative Code, ER-MRS 13. The inclusion of this section in the Agreement is for informational purposes only and does not constitute bargaining with respect to the subject matter of this section. Further, any amendment to the aforementioned law or rule governing probationary periods will require an immediate amendment to this section.
