Common use of Deletion on Term Expiry Clause in Contracts

Deletion on Term Expiry. On expiry of the Term, Customer instructs Google to delete all Customer Personal Data (including existing copies) from Google’s systems in accordance with applicable law. Google will comply with this instruction as soon as reasonably practicable and within a maximum period of 180 days, unless EU or EU Member State law requires storage.

Deletion on Term Expiry. On Subject to Section 6.3 (Deferred Deletion Instruction), on expiry of the applicable Term, Customer instructs Google to delete all Customer Personal Data (including existing copies) from Google’s systems in accordance with applicable law. Google will comply with this instruction as soon as reasonably practicable and within a maximum period of 180 days, unless EU European or EU Member State law National Law requires storage. Without prejudice to Section 9.1 (Access; Rectification; Restricted Processing; Portability), Customer is responsible for exporting, before the applicable Term expires, any Customer Data it wishes to retain.
