Common use of Delivery Charges Clause in Contracts

Delivery Charges. The goods shall be delivered on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, as defined in the International Chamber of Commerce’s Incoterms 2010, to the Buyer’s destination specified on the Purchase Order. Any freight related duties, taxes and charges invoiced to the Buyer, either by the Supplier or the carrier, will be charged back to or paid by the Supplier. If the Purchase Order stipulates an Ex-Works (EXW) or Free Carrier (FCA) Incoterm, the Buyer will be responsible for freight charges to the destination designated on the Purchase Order. Any costs incurred by the Buyer as a result of the Supplier’s failure to comply with the Buyer’s delivery or routing instructions shall be borne by the Supplier.
