Delivery / non-delivery. (1) If the goods are not taken delivery of by the consignee within a reasonable time after the Multimodal Transport Operator has called upon him to take delivery, the Multimodal Transport Operator shall be at liberty to put the goods in safe custody on behalf of the consignee at the consignee's risk and expense or to place the goods at the disposal of the consignee in accordance with the Multimodal Transport Contract or with the law, or with the usage of the particular trade applicable at the place of delivery.
