Demotion adjustment. (b) An employee who is absent because of sickness or accident at the end of the employee's SCHEDULED DAILY TOUR (within the employee's SCHEDULED WEEKLY TOUR) immediately preceding the effective date of any increase provided for in this Article shall not receive the increase (to which otherwise eligible) until return to active duty.
