Each employee shall have the privilege of electing to have family-dependent coverage for his spouse and children under the dental insurance provisions mentioned in Paragraph 1 immediately above as the same is available through said insurer or insurers. In addition to the Employer’s obligation to pay the premium cost for the coverage attributable to the individual employee under Paragraph 1 immediately above, the Employer shall pay the premium cost attributable to such family-dependent coverage.

  • Education of Students with Disabilities 3.5.1. The DOE is the State of Hawaii's “state education agency” (SEA) and “local education agency” (LEA) for purposes of compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).   • Inpatient In accordance with Rhode Island General Law §27-20-17.1, this agreement covers a minimum inpatient hospital stay of forty- eight (48) hours from the time of a vaginal delivery and ninety-six (96) hours from the time of a cesarean delivery: • If the delivery occurs in a hospital, the hospital length of stay for the mother or newborn child begins at the time of delivery (or in the case of multiple births, at the time of the last delivery). • If the delivery occurs outside a hospital, the hospital length of stay begins at the time the mother or newborn is admitted as a hospital in connection with childbirth. Any decision to shorten these stays shall be made by the attending physician in consultation with and upon agreement with you. In those instances where you and your infant participate in an early discharge, you will be eligible for: • up to two (2) home care visits by a skilled, specially trained registered nurse for you and/or your infant, (any additional visits must be reviewed for medical necessity); and • a pediatric office visit within twenty-four (24) hours after discharge. See Section 3.23 - Office Visits for coverage of home and office visits. We cover hospital services provided to you and your newborn child. Your newborn child is covered for services required to treat injury or sickness. This includes the necessary care and treatment of medically diagnosed congenital defects and birth abnormalities as well as routine well-baby care.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Housing Services The owner must provide all housing services as agreed to in the lease.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • School Operations The School’s governing board shall be solely responsible for the operation of the school and exercise continuing oversight over the School’s operations. The School’s governing board will define and refine policies regarding educational philosophy, and oversee assessment and accountability procedures to assure that the School’s student performance standards are met or exceeded.
