Common use of Department Commitment Goals Clause in Contracts

Department Commitment Goals. By executing the State Aid and Targeted Grants Contract, Xxxxxxx agrees to assist XXXX in achieving the statewide goal of limiting the number of juveniles recommended for commitment to TJJD. In order to limit the number of staff recommendations for TJJD commitment, Grantee shall develop programmatic alternatives for juveniles at immediate risk of commitment to TJJD. Grantee shall require its juvenile probation department staff to explore and recommend dispositional alternatives, when appropriate and consistent with a validated risk and needs assessment, before making a recommendation for commitment to TJJD.
