Common use of DEPARTURE AND ABANDONMENT Clause in Contracts

DEPARTURE AND ABANDONMENT. If any employee not on an approved leave fails to notify his immediate supervisor of his intended absence from work for more than three (3) consecutive workdays, such failure shall constitute a resignation of employment, effective at the end of the third (3rd) workday.
