Paid Time Off for Part-Time Employees. Part-time employees hired on or after July 1, 2012, shall receive a Paid Time Off (PTO) allowance. PTO will be earned monthly, at the rate of two (2) hours for each calendar month of employment. No leave will be earned for any calendar month in which the employee has not actually worked at least forty (40) hours. Upon hire, the employee will be credited, in advance, the anticipated leave the employee will earn between the date of hire and the following June 30. Thereafter, an employee will be credited, in advance, with twenty-four (24) hours of PTO on the first day of July each year with appropriate deductions for unearned but previously paid leave for the period ending the day previous (e.g., June 30). PTO can be used for the purposes set forth in this Article for sick leave, vacation leave, personal business leave, or bereavement leave. Use of PTO is subject to work rules and procedures established by the Library for the type of leave requested. PTO leave may only be used in increments of four (4) hours PTO will not accumulate, and any unused PTO at June 30 will be forfeited. Upon termination of employment, an employee will not be paid for unused PTO. Upon termination of employment, if the employee has used more PTO than he has earned under this Article, the value of such excess leave used will be deducted from the employee's pay check.

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees ‌ (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee. (b) A part-time employee working less than the normal days per week of a full-time employee, and who is required to work other than their regularly scheduled workdays, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the days so worked up to and including the normal workdays in the workweek of a full-time employee. (c) Overtime rates shall apply to hours worked in excess of (a) and (b) above.

  • Part-Time Employees Employees who are scheduled to work less than forty (40) hours per workweek.

  • Benefits for Part-Time Employees ‌ A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.

  • Permanent Part-Time Employees (1) Pay and benefits will be computed on a prorated monthly or pay period basis, such as one-half (½) monthly or pay period pay for a half-time employee, or pay will be computed on an hourly basis, and pay and benefits will be normally prorated on a pay period, pay status basis. Permanent part-time employees in permanent full-time positions will be treated as permanent part-time for purposes of this Article. (2) Employees paid on a fixed partial monthly basis shall have all extra hours worked over the regular part-time schedule paid at the hourly rate. Employees paid on a fixed partial monthly basis who work less than the regular part-time schedule shall have time deducted at the hourly rate.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with Company’s policy in place from time to time; provided, however, that Executive shall be eligible to accrue no less than twenty (20) days per calendar year (with such amount prorated for the balance of 2017).

  • Regular Part-Time Employee A regular part-time employee is an employee hired to fill a posted part-time position and is regularly pre-scheduled to work.

  • Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to take paid time off in accordance with the Company’s applicable paid time off policy for executives, as may be in effect from time to time.

  • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with applicable law and the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.
