Common use of Dependent Property Coverage Clause in Contracts

Dependent Property Coverage. The Insurer(s) agree to extend the insurance provided by this Form to apply to your loss of “gross profit” resulting from interruption to your business due to loss or damage from an “insured peril” to “dependent property” anywhere in Canada, provided such location is not: (i) under your ownership, controlled or occupied by you; or (ii) a public utility which furnishes heat, light, power, gas or water to you. The most that the Insurer(s) will pay under this Extension of Coverage shall not exceed $10,000 or as specified on the Declarations for any one “Occurrence”.
