Description. 7.2.1.1 This Section 7.2 addresses the exchange of traffic between CLEC's network and CenturyLink's network. Where either Party interconnects and delivers traffic to the other from third parties, each Party shall xxxx such third parties the appropriate charges pursuant to its respective Tariffs or contractual offerings for such third party terminations. Unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties, via an amendment to this Agreement, the Parties will directly exchange traffic between their respective networks without the use of third party transit providers. 7.2.1.2 The traffic types to be exchanged under this Agreement include: 7.2.1.2.1 EAS/local Exchange Service (EAS/Local) traffic as defined in this Agreement. 7.2.1.2.2 IntraLATA LEC Toll traffic as defined in this Agreement. 7.2.1.2.3 Jointly Provided Switched Access traffic as described in Section 7.5.1. Jointly Provided Switched Access is associated with Meet-Point Billing. 7.2.1.2.4 For purposes of the Agreement, Transit Service does not include traffic carried by Interexchange Carriers. That traffic is defined as Jointly Provided Switched Access. Transit Service is provided by CenturyLink, as a local and Access Tandem Switch provider, to CLEC to enable the completion of calls originated by or terminated to end users of another Telecommunications Carrier which is connected to CenturyLink's Switches. To the extent that CLEC's Switch functions as a local or Access Tandem Switch, as defined in this Agreement, CLEC may also provide transit service to CenturyLink. 7.2.1.2.5 Traffic having special Billing or trunking requirements includes, but is not limited to, the following: a) Directory Assistance; b) 911/E911;
