Descriptive Text. Genre is culturally specific text type which result from using language (written and spoken) to keep accomplish something. It takes place through a series of stages and using language in particular ways. A text is usually represents a discourse, although it may be a list of associated sentences and every teaching materials in English subjects always involves text. One of them is descriptive text. Descriptive text is a kind of text that actually tells us about a short description of people‟s characterization, animal, thing and particular place. Descriptive Text. Descriptive text is one kinds genre in English to describe about people, animal or thing. Descriptive text is tell about something or place or animal. Descriptive text is written english in which the writer describes an object. In the text, the object can be a concrete or abstract object. It can be a person, an animal, a tree, a house, or camping.
