Common use of Design Council Clause in Contracts

Design Council. As requested, ENGINEER shall meet with the City’s Design Council to review the PROJECT design and interpret engineering drawings. The first presentation should be made at the point when the ENGINEER has arrived at a design which meets all of the functional requirements of the program and has been tentatively approved by the City staff person in charge. Before authoriza- tion is given to the ENGINEER to move on to design development, the PROJECT should be presented to the Design Council for review.
