Common use of Design Delegation to Owner Clause in Contracts

Design Delegation to Owner. Before performing any design services, the Architect shall inform the Owner in writing as to which of the information designated in this Agreement as “Owner-provided” is necessary for the performance of the Architect’s Services. Upon the Owner’s request, the Architect shall, as a Basic Service, prepare the scope of work for such services and identify qualifications necessary for such services as well as a list of Consultants that the Architect believes to be reputable, competent, and appropriately licensed to perform such services. The Architect shall submit this request and list for Owner’s approval and shall assist Owner in selecting such Consultants.
